They say the home is where the heart is, so when you renovate your place in a way that people don't like it's inevitable that it's going to ruffle some feathers. In a way, it's nothing short of a miracle that so many people are willing to post how they redecorate on the internet because there is always somebody who takes issue with it—although sometimes, it can be justified.

This is what a lot of people thought when somebody shared on social media how they had replaced the kitchen in their house. Revealing that the old kitchen had almost made them not buy it, the finished product was not something that many others warmed to. While it is true that the previous model had some impracticalities, the same could be said of the new one. Ultimately, your home should only have to please you, but you can't expect that to be respected if you go public with it.
